Solicitor Emma Wells recently joined our Residential Conveyancing team at the firm's Cosham office. We asked her some questions to get to know her better.
Who am I?
Emma Wells - I am a newly qualified solicitor.
What do I do?
I work in residential conveyancing.
What can I help you with?
I deal with the following conveyancing cases: residential freehold and leasehold, new build, shared ownership, staircasing, transfer of equity and remortgages.
What do I like most about my job?
I like that each title to a property is different and it is exciting to help first time buyers get their first property.
What are my hobbies?
I take ballroom dance lessons after being inspired by strictly come dancing. I love cooking and making new recipes, especially those from abroad. I love travelling and visiting new places. I am also hoping to complete my first triathlon in 2018.
Why did I decide to train to be a solicitor?
I decided to study Law at university as it sounded interesting. I really enjoyed it and therefore decided to pursue a career in law.
If I didn’t decide to become a lawyer, what would I have done instead?
Probably a VET as I love animals and volunteer with the RSPCA - Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
How can you get in touch with me?
By calling the Cosham office on 023 9282 0747 or sending an email to ewells@churchers.co.uk.
