Churchers Expands Civil Litigation Team

Churchers Solicitors has appointed solicitor Gemma Nolan to its Dispute Resolution team in the firm's Portsmouth office.

 Gemma Nolan, SolicitorGemma, who specialises in civil litigation, qualified as a solicitor in 2006 with Blake Lapthorn, now Blake Morgan, and worked in its Insolvency Team in London. She then went on to work for the Financial Ombudsman Service in Australia, before joining the Churchers team this month [October].  
Gemma said: “I am looking forward to facing new challenges with Churchers, and I hope to bring my knowledge and experience of general litigation, alternative dispute resolution and contentious insolvency to the table.” She added: “It has been an exciting year for Churchers, and I am happy to be working within an award-winning team that has a fantastic win-ratio when it comes to commercial litigation cases.”

Churchers has had a positive year in terms of employee growth and is currently focusing on the promotion of its services for business throughout its South Coast offices.

Partner Andrew Bryan, who heads up the Civil Litigation Department at Churchers, said: “Gemma has brought her depth of experience of insolvency litigation and business acumen to our busy Dispute Resolution team and she will undoubtedly prove to be a very strong addition to our team.”
